DTS Cybersecurity Expert Derek Kernus Selected for Prestigious SAME 2023 Technology Award for Cybersecurity Contributions
ARLINGTON, Va.— January 31, 2024—DTS, delivering cyber, consulting, and management services, is proud to announce that Director of Cybersecurity Operations Derek Kernus was selected by the Washington DC Post of the Society of Military Engineers’ (SAME) Annual Award for Outstanding Contributions to Technology (Cybersecurity) for 2023. In his role as Director of Cybersecurity Operations, Mr. Kernus leads a team of cybersecurity professionals focusing on compliance, process improvement, and technology transformation.
The SAME Washington DC Post 28th Annual Awards Program celebrates the achievements of individuals and sustaining member firms who have made significant contributions to SAME National, SAME DC Post, and their professions. Mr. Kernus was honored for his outstanding leadership in enhancing cybersecurity programs for federal contractors and businesses during the Washington, DC Post of SAME dinner banquet on Tuesday, January 30, at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.
